Yoh Managed Staffing Tops 62 Million USD in Online Sales in 2002
PHILADELPHIA, February 24, 2003 - Yoh Managed Staffing generated more than 62 Million USD in online sales through its customer-specific Private Exchanges in 2002.
The unit began offering eBusiness services to its customers in April 2001 and anticipates online sales to top 80 Million USD in 2003. Overall, Yoh Managed Staffing has Internet-enabled nearly 20% of its customer base, with another 20%scheduled for implementation this year. In 2002, the company serviced more than 5,200 online users.
The greatest benefit derived by Private Exchange customers has been greater control of the processes and information in their managed staffing programs. As a result, Yoh has reduced customer contract labor expenditures by an average of at least 3% and has cut the time entry and approval process for one customer from an average of 7-to-10 days to less than 48 hours.
Yoh Managed Staffing's click-and-mortar Private Exchange offers a unique blend of on-site services with state-of-the-art Internet technology. The Private Exchange offers customers a content, commerce and community platform that facilitates business processes such as employee on-boarding and co-employment avoidance for payroll services and contract labor management.
"Our customers are looking for more than software," according to Jim Lanzalotto, Vice President of Strategy & Marketing for Yoh. "By delivering industry-leading on-site management, integrated with customer hiring policies and third-party content and advice - along with our 60 years of staffing industry experience and 12 years of contract labor management experience - our customers can focus on their core competencies and outsource contract labor program management to us."
The eCommerce portion of Yoh's Private Exchange is delivered through a strategic alliance with The WorkCard Company. Customer policies and industry information are distributed by Yoh, its customers and select content providers. Hosting services are supplied by IBM.
